My name is Cagney Brigham and I am a 22 year old pitcher from the United States. I played for 3 years as an outfielder in college, but was a pitcher in the collegiate summer leauge I played in. I throw right handed, and my fastball tops out at around 87 mph. I also throw a cutfastball, splitfingerfastball, and curve ball. I am very interested in playing pro baseball in Europe, but do not really know how to go about finding a team to play for. Any help would be great! Hi, my name is Randy McLellan.
Please read my whole submission carefully, as I have tried to put as much information for you as possible into a very short format.
I'm from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada. I have over 21 years of coaching experience in fastpitch softball. I have N.C.C.P. coaching certification, and have coached athletes from beginer to elite levels. Since I first started, I have collected information, watched hundreds of hours of games and film, read book after book, studied and made notes, and experimented over and over, all to try and find the best possible ways to teach athletes the different skills needed to play fastpitch softball.
I'm currently in my 15th year of full off season training and development programs for batting and pitchers/back catchers, many of those who have played at elite levels, attended U.S. Colleges, recieved scholarships, and most recently athletes that won gold at World Masters Fastpitch Championships in 2005. I coach fastpitch softball 12 months a year, and every minute that I spend coaching is documented and used as research information. My program development never stops and is always moving ahead. The soul purpose of my programs, is to develop the best technical teaching systems in the world, which will develop the best technical athletes in the world !
I have spent over 11 years carefully researching batting, and developing a teaching system that works for almost every batter in a very short period of time. I'm currently finishing my 5th year of full off season training and development programs for batting, and this batting program has produced amazing results.
Four years ago, I started this program, putting my research to work with athletes of all ages, at all levels, male and female. It has taken average and below average batters in the 0.100 - 0.300 range to the 0.400 - 0.600 mark. It has taken 10 year olds who never even played before, to hitting 55 mph. pitches off the pitching machines, line driving them 3 out of 5 times per at bat in 5 weeks, Now how is that for results ! This program works and has proven itself over and over. The information in this program comes from hundreds and hundreds of hours of research of the best batters in the world, and it can be scientificaly proven !!
This program has taken on two formats.
The first is a full off season training program that runs from mid October to the end of April, one class per week, 2 hours per class, with approx. 12 athletes maximum per class. There are four different classes each week, beginers, intermediate, advanced, and elite. This format is done indoors using a gymnasium and a classroom. The extended period of time allows the athletes to learn at a slow pace in order to imprint body movement very carefully, and more fully understand all information that is taught. The use of slow motion video is one of the best teaching tools for athletes at all levels, to understand how their body is moving in comparison to what they are trying to learn. Athletes at all levels can also have individual documenting and recording done from start to finish, which helps them understand how they have progressed and how to maintain what they have learned. The classroom/chalkboard time is used to teach mental preparation, intensity and thought control, rules, strategies, and illustrated demonstrations. Not only do we need to teach batters how to move their body and hit the ball, we also need to teach them how to think !
The second format is the same program, but is set up on classes being every day, or multiple times per week. This format is ideal for clubs, teams, clinics, coaches clinics, leagues or even private lessons, as it has many options for size and time period. this starts at 3 weeks, consisting of 2 - 4 classes per day, 5 - 6 days per week as an introduction to the development system, and can be booked up to 12 weeks or more, for more high performance and intensity at the higher and more advanced levels. I run this format from early May until mid September. I can supply all the equipment needed such as; slow motion video, radar gun, bats, pitching machines, etc.

Me he acercado a ustedes para que por favor me informen acerca del béisbol en su país, ya que yo soy un jugador del equipo Metropolitanos de la ciudad de Santiago y mi interés radica en el hecho de acercarme a una liga de mayor nivel para probar oportunidades en un eventual profesionalismo o semi-profesionalismo, por lo tanto les solicito amablemente que me informen acerca de la pelota en España, esto es, el nivel en que se encuentra, que clase de posibilidades hay de acercarse allá, cuando se efectúan try-outs, etcétera, pues desconozco la realidad beisbolera en el viejo continente, si tienen algún link con algún entrenador sería fantástico, pues quizás él podría asesorarme en ese sentido, ya que es muy importante para mí intentar una carrera en béisbol.

Hello, My name is Tara Moriarty, and I am a senior at Southern New Hampshire University. I would very much like to play softball in Europe this season, but especially in Spain. I would first like to apologize for the fact that my letter is in English, and say that I really appreciate that you're taking the time to read this e-mail in something other than your native language. Thank you! A little about me: I'm a good hitting, experienced utility player who has played the last three years at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), in Manchester New Hampshire (a high Division II school who has made it to the NCAA tournament). I can play any position for you except for pitcher, but in my college career, I'm primarily at 1st or 3rd base. In high school I was mainly a shortstop and 1st baseman. I would feel comfortable, however, wherever you would like me to play, and wherever it could best help the team. During my last three years at SNHU, I have made the All Conference team twice, team MVP once and have been a team captain since my junior year. In both high school and college I was named player of the week several times. In high school, I was named MVP and was given the silver batting award twice. I was also named captain my senior year. In my conference, I was a league all star twice. For the state I was named all-scholastic two years in a row. Also I have been a member of the Drifters Junior Olympic softball program since I was thirteen. The Drifters have been a national contending team for over ten years. I very much hope you'd like me to come play, as I have a true love for the sport, and believe I can bring much to your team! Not only would you be getting an experienced college player, but I would love to help coach as well. For three years I helped coach two little league teams with my sister. For the last two years I have helped coach my former high school team. Another plus about being at Southern New Hampshire University is that we put on a great many softball clinics. My team hosts at least seven clinics in a season. During those clinics we are able to teach younger players different skills. In some cases, the other team captain and I have run the entire clinic by ourselves, so I believe I can bring much to your team as both a player and an experienced instructor and mentor.
