Dear Softball-Friends, it is time to send you the Invitation for the 2008 edition of the Lisa Fernandez Fastpitch Junior Challenge. Most of you might know that we always try to bring in a group of 19 and under Fastpitchteams that are really competitive. In the past we had several nationalteams (from Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Switzerland) as well as strong Clubteams from Holland, the Czech Republic and Germany. The Tounament will be at the 4th and 5th of October, here in our beautiful town of Hamburg-Germany. Like always we will do our best that the girls really having fun and that the cost for the teams will be as low as possible. As always we only have room for 4 teams (plus our own juniors) and for that we already have some teams showing big intresst we handle it like every year - the teams that confirm their participation first AND send the Money (Tournament fee AND Caution) will be the teams that will participate... This year will be special, because we have a brand-new field (after years we now have a grass-outfield and we will have lights at the end of the season) and because there is a German holiday right before the tournament starts. So we hope we will find Teams that will arrive on Friday (3rd of October), so that we can have more an d longer games this year.
